Damage Claims

A personal injury case involves an injury to a person by the negligent or intentional act of another. Typically, the injury occurs because of a motor vehicle accident, although injuries from a wide variety of other circumstances, such as slip and fall and sexual molestation. If you have suffered a personal injury, Mr. Alway can meet with you (outside of the office if necessary) and discuss the legal and factual issues pertaining to your claim. If insurance is involved, we can explain how the insurance system works and, if you hire us, handle all contacts and communications with the insurers for you.

Our job as your attorney is to handle all aspects of your case, keep you informed of significant developments, offer you strategic advice and information about the value of your claim and, ultimately, achieve the best possible outcome, either through settlement or litigation.

Wrongful Death

A wrongful death lawsuit is based on the concept that, in addition to causing the death of a person, people who depended upon the deceased person for financial or emotional support may be compensated. The wrongful act may be a negligent or careless act such as careless driving, or an intentional act such as a deliberate murder. A representative is allowed to bring the wrongful death suit as defined by special statutes.
